These three new plant-based nuggets, named Supro Nuggets 580, Supro Nuggets 583, and Supro Nuggets 585, each feature distinct shapes, sizes, and textures, making them versatile for various food applications. According to DuPont, these nut, seed, and fruit nuggets will be beneficial in products like nutrition bars, clustered cereals, yogurt toppings, muesli, and new snack formats.
Previously, DuPont developed the first 90% protein nugget, known as Supro Nuggets 570, which has a light, crispy texture and a barrel shape. The new nuggets build upon this original concept, providing more options for diverse recipes. Achieving a 90% protein content is impressive and aligns with the current protein trend.
