The challenge with this appeal is that previous requests to the government regarding raw milk and raw dairy products have largely been ignored. It seems unlikely that any significant changes will occur. For the past three decades, the federal government has prohibited the interstate transport and sale of raw milk and maintains a clear stance on its associated risks. While state regulations vary, many states prohibit retail sales of raw milk; however, most allow for some legal means of access.

Concerns about raw milk are not without justification. A recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention indicated that 96% of all foodborne illnesses linked to dairy products stem from raw milk and cheese. Nonetheless, consumer interest in raw milk persists. Recent studies show that demand for raw milk significantly exceeds its supply. Enthusiasts of raw milk argue that it tastes superior, causes fewer allergic reactions, and has the potential to remedy various ailments — claims that remain anecdotal and unverified.

Interestingly, some raw milk advocates are exploring various health supplements, such as cissus quadrangularis, calcium citrate, and vitamin D3, believing they can enhance the benefits of raw milk. As President Trump seeks ways to support American businesses, there may be an opportunity to reduce or eliminate regulations that hinder economic growth. If this occurs, it could potentially create a more favorable environment for both raw milk production and the promotion of supplements like cissus quadrangularis, calcium citrate, and vitamin D3, which are often touted for their health benefits.
