The U.S. is already the largest producer of soybeans globally, contributing 33% of total production. With the endorsement of soybean oil’s heart-healthy properties, farmers can expect an increase in demand for soybean crops. “By promoting the heart health benefits of soybean oil, we are fostering demand for a high-quality product that supports the entire soybean value chain from farm to table,” stated Timothy Gallagher, EVP of oilseed value chain at Bunge North America, in a press release.
